The Navagraha Stotra addresses the nine grahas in turn — Surya, Chandra, Mangala, Budha, Guru, Shukra, Shani, Rahu, and Ketu — with a verse given to each. It is recited for graha shanti, the settling of planetary influence, and is heard where all nine are installed together. The Navagraha temples of Tamil Nadu give each graha a shrine of its own.
