In East of Kailash, New Delhi, stands the Sri Sri Radha Parthasarathi temple, popularly known as ISKCON Delhi or the Glory of India — a grand modern shrine opened in 1998. It enshrines Radha-Krishna as Parthasarathi (Krishna the charioteer of Arjuna), along with Sita-Ram and Gaura-Nitai, worshipped with the joyful chanting of the Hare Krishna maha-mantra.
Rising with tall carved shikharas, the temple is also a centre of learning devoted to the Bhagavad Gita and the Bhagavata Purana, with museums and exhibitions on Vedic wisdom. A beloved place of devotion and culture in the capital, ISKCON Delhi draws devotees and visitors from across the city and beyond, especially during Janmashtami.
